....The Daily Tar Heel is the student newspaper at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The DTH - which is the newspaper of record in Orange Co., N.C. - is published five days a week and has a readership of 39,000. I am the State & National Editor at the DTH, so you can check out my work when you visit the site.

....Under The Dome is a special political insider section in the News & Observer - the Raleigh, N.C. newspaper. I particularly like this site because it contains interesting political tidbits, especially commentary on the N.C. General Assembly, which I cover frequently for The Daily Tar Heel.

....The Austin American-Statesman is the newspaper in Austin, Texas. I read the Statesman frequently this past summer, while I was in Austin interning at Texas Monthly magazine. Austin is an amazing city and the Statesman accurately covers the city's news, while being certain to capture its unique culture.
