UNC system, trends and significant events in higher education, and
all major events in North Carolina and the nation
- Write difficult lead-front stories,

- Act as the N.C. General Assembly
beat reporter filing daily from Raleigh, N.C. when lawmakers tackle
major legislation or address issues pertinent to the UNC system
- Coordinated a 12 person team
