Welcome to Micmac's Planning Department Home Page!
Please visit our site often as Micmac grows.

Micmac is a small, growing city of 10,000 people located in southern Maine within Androscoggin County. Micmac is located approximately 30 miles west of the ocean and 15 miles to
the east of the city of Abenaki, which has a rapidly growing population of 150,000.

For the last 30 years, Micmac’s economy has revolved around
two primary activities: blueberry farming and commercial printing.
Maine’s famous blueberries grow on the township’s prime agricultural land. Jam making is a longtime, well renowned tradition in Micmac. Paper rolls are shipped to Micmac for use in our locally owned printing facility, Corbin’s Press.

Come try our famous blueberry jam!
