After a brief tour of the campus of Auburn University, a trip to the Alabama state capitol in Montgomery the day before, and
sidetrip through Tuskegee the day before, I headed northward to Cheaha Mountain, the highest point in the Yellowhammer State.
It's in an eponimous state park, and at the top is a nice stone observation tower built by the Civil Conservation Core during the
New Deal.
The view was okay when it was not obscured by conspiracy theory ramblings.
