Research: Yellow Journalism

yellow journalism

For my research, I chose to explore the sensational journalism practices of the 1890s. Such journalism spawned writers like William Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer. Yellow journalism, as the type of writing would later be called, focussed on creating news and embellishing stories. These stories, therefore, were sometimes inacurate and biased. One of the clearest exaples of this writing occured during the Spanish-American War. The linked information below will direct you to my research and websites that have more information regarding this topic.
