An important component of learning about art is learning to write about art, which is a separate, albeit related, process from learning to look at art. We will be using an additional textbook entitled, Visual Literacy:
Writing about Art, as a model for learning to look, think and write about the Visual Arts. Several different types of papers will be assigned based on readings from this book that we will discuss in class on alternating Fridays. More details about each small paper can be found in the handouts included below.
