Synopsis

I just graduated from UNC with my Ph. D. in Math. My advisor is Dr. Prakash Belkale. My mathematical interests include algebraic geometry, representation thoery of Lie Groups and Schubert combinatorics. In particular, I work with geometric aspects of Schubert Calculus on flag varieties G/P. Here is a copy of my vita and detailed research statement. In Fall 2008, I will be working at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

Papers

Here is a copy of my thesis titled: Recursive structures in the cohomology of flag varities. I also gave a talk on these results at John Millson's Birthday conference at UMD in March 2008. You can find my slides here.

A partial Horn recursion in the cohomology of flag varieties (accepted in the Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics). This paper was previously titled: "Horn recursion for a new product in the cohomology of partial flag varieties SLn/P". At the Fall 2007 AMS Southeastern meeting at MTSU, I gave a presentation on this paper. Here is a copy of my slides.
