Soak slides as follows:

Minutes: Reagent:

3 Used Hemo:De Xylene 3:1

3 New Hemo:De Xylene 3:1

3 Used Absolute ETOH

3 New Absolute ETOH

3 Used 95% ETOH

3 New 95% ETOH

1 Twice in dH2O

2-5 Hemalyotoxin stain (0.45um filtered before use)

1 dH2O until no new stain comes into solution

If to dark, rinse in 1% HCl, 50% ETOH

3 Bluing reagent (Lithium Carbonate) saturated in H2O

1-2 Rinse well under tap water

1 Used 70% ETOH

1 Used 95% ETOH

1 New 95% ETOH

1 Eosin stain. All steps quickly from here until end.

1 Used, red 95% ETOH

1 UsedAbsolute ETOH

1 New Absolute ETOH

<1 Used Hemo:De (not 3:1)

Final step New Hemo:De (not 3:1) until ready to coverslip.
