My fields of specialization are Labor Economics, Health
Economics and Applied Econometrics.
My dissertation research focuses on the effect of high school
leadership on subsequent educational attainment and post-schooling
wages. I have also spent time doing research in health economics.
At UNC, I have been a teaching assistant for Introduction to
Economics. I have also taught three independent sections of Applied
Microeconomics, the intermediate microeconomics course for non-majors.
Prior to coming to UNC, I worked in Chicago, IL as Analyst
for InteCap, Inc., an economic consulting firm.
