I am a Ph.D. candidate at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I expect to  graduate in May of 2009.  

My fields of specialization are Labor Economics, Health Economics and Applied Econometrics.

My dissertation research focuses on the effect of high school leadership on subsequent educational attainment and post-schooling wages. I have also spent time doing research in health economics.

At UNC, I have been a teaching assistant for Introduction to Economics. I have also taught three independent sections of Applied Microeconomics, the intermediate microeconomics course for non-majors.

Prior to coming to UNC, I worked in Chicago, IL as Analyst for InteCap, Inc., an economic consulting firm.
