Bacon’s Radio Directory contains a meticulous listing of radio networks and stations.  The information includes listings by network, station, contact information, program information, and more in a comprehensive and easily navigable structure.

Mostly focused on published media, this Gale Group publication includes geographic listings of all publishers and broadcast media by city and state within the United States , Canada (vols. 1 and 2) and by nation (vol. 5).  There is a separate section (vol. 4) which includes radio stations listed by call letter with contact information and format.  Indexes and tables (vol. 3) are included with a short radio station format listing and radio networks section.

Section 5 of The Working Press of the Nation is dedicated to public and educational radio stations.  Directory listings are by state, town, and call letters.  Section 12 includes an index of radio stations by call letters.  There is a synopsis of NPR in section 11 with the headquarters’ address, President and short overview including major programs.
