Amos, Deborah, et al.  Sound Reporting:  the National Public Radio Guide to Radio Journalism and Production.  Dubuque, IA:  Kendall/Hunt Pub. Col, 1992.  Davis [PN4784.R2 T44 1992]

Mainly a handbook to radio reporting, Sound Reporting includes the first edition of the NPR Stylebook after the fourth section.  Current versions of this stylebook are still in use today internally at all NPR stations.  The stylebook covers: word use, grammar, pronunciation; editorial and production guidelines; and a legal guide for radio journalists.
