Beginning in 1989, to mark their 30th wedding anniversary, Don and Thelma Ferguson chose to celebrate by taking their daughter, Jean, son, Marc, and daughter-in-law, Mary to Hawaii for a family vacation. They had so much fun that Jean, Marc and Mary agreed that the tradition should be continued. Don and Thelma concurred, with the five year contingency.
