Morning Edition

One of the two cornerstone programs on NPR, Morning Edition is a two-hour mix of news, analysis, interviews, commentaries, arts, features and music.  It can be heard Monday through Friday, generally from 6 to 9 am.  Weekend Edition, also produced by NPR, can be heard on Saturday and Sunday mornings.   

 

All Things Considered (ATC)

NPR’s All Things Considered presents a blend of news, interviews, commentaries, reviews, and innovative features for two hours every afternoon, Mondays through Fridays.  A sister program, Weekend ATC is broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fresh Air

Fresh Air, with Terry Gross, features in-depth interviews with prominent cultural and entertainment figures, as well as distinguished experts on current affairs and news.   Fresh Air is produced by WHYY in Philadelphia, PA.

 

The Connection

The Connection, produced by WBUR in Boston, MA, is a two-hour program tackling a vast range of topics; from politics to literature, religion to science, and music to medicine.

 

Satellite Sisters

Rewind

Rewind twists the news each week with sketches, interviews, poetry and dialogue between host Bill Radke and a panel of nationally renowned guests.  Rewind, produced by KUOW in Seattle, WA, includes a segment titled “Ask the Librarian” featuring Mary Dempsey, head of the Chicago Public Libraries.
