Introductory Seminar

Place: Geneen Auditorium, Fugua School of Business, Duke University.

Admission Fee: Free

Qigong ( pronounced "chee-gong" ) is an ancient system of mental and physical training for cultivating mind and body strength working with the bioenergy of the human body. It is the basis of acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, and many styles of martial arts. One of the most attractive features of qigong is its effectiveness in health maintenance and self-healing of many chronic conditions. Tangible benefits of qigong practice include stress reduction, weight loss, improvement in working efficiency, and enhancement of functional abilities. A Qigong method by the well known Chinese qigong Master, Dr. Yan Xin, will be introduced during the seminar.

  1. Exit at 107 to 751 Road East,
  2. Turn Left to Erwin road,

From 147 Durham Freeway:

  1. Exit at 15A to Duke University west campus,
  2. Turn Left on Elba road to Fulton road, Turn Right to Erwin Road,
  3. At 3rd light intersection, turn left to Towerview road.

 

From Towerview Road:

  1. Turn Right at First stop Sign and find a place to park,
  2. First floor in the left wing of the school building.
