Lynn M. Fisher

Lynn M. Fisher is the Flanagan Scholar and Associate Professor of Real Estate at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Her research investigates homeownership, mortgage financing and development. The Journal of Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics and the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics are among the journals that have published her work.

Dr. Fisher formerly served on the faculty at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning and the Center for Real Estate, where she was director of the MIT/CRE Housing Affordability Initiative.

She received her PhD in business administration from the Pennsylvania State University, where she concentrated in real estate finance and microeconomics. She has an MS in business administration and a BA in international politics from Penn State.
