·        Title of your project this summer? Research for an alternative tobacco suspension program

 

·        Brief description of your project(s) this summer? Research on alternative tobacco suspension programs to use in school systems serving mostly American Indian communities.

 

·        One major hurdle that you encountered in your work this summer? Research always has many stumbling blocks

 

·        Something you learned about American Indian communities this summer? I was surprised at the number of American Indian teenagers that smoke, especially considering the health problems that arise from smoking in American Indians.
