| Saleen and Willow |

Hey
there, I'm Saleen. I'm the orange cat in the picture to the left. I'm
much more talkative than Willow, the tortie on the right, so I'll be your
narrator. Willow's interruptions are in purple, just so you know who
is who. Just keep in mind who is telling the story. We (or I) rule the Morris household. We were adopted from the Orange county Animal Shelter when we were around a year old. That's where these pictures were taken. |

I was pretty sick in the
shelter. I had a cold and some diarreah. But my owners fell in
love with me anyway! They knew that even though I was only 8.5 lbs
that I would grow up to be a big kitty. I don't think I had an owner
before Veronica and Brad, but I'm so laid back that I don't really care.
Well I had a previous home, though I don't remember it. I was declawed, so I had a difficult time while I was a stray. However, I was 9 lbs when I got adopted. So there. Here are some pictures of us from the first week in our new home. We look much better now! See how skinny I am? When I first arrived, I was still pretty sleepy from the anesthetic from getting neutered. Since I already knew I was in charge, I settled in and took a long nap. Then I started eating, and I haven't stopped since. Except to sleep, chase Willow and nap on the guinea pig cage. Yes, well I wasn't at home at all! I hid under the bed for most of the first few days. Plus, I had this huge gash in my tummy from getting spayed. You can see how much of my tummy they shaved to do that. And I heard my owners saying that it turns out I had already been spayed, but there was no tattoo on my tummy. So they opened me up for nothing. Story of my life. |
| Our
owners kept the names we were given in the shelter. Boy are we ever
glad! Otherwise we would have ended up named after philosophers and
scientists. Or after characters from the Lord of the Rings or Monty Python like the poor guinea pigs! Anyway, here are some pictures of me being held. I like being held, or at least I tolerate it for a few minutes. So many more pictures of me get taken! See the shower curtain in the back of the first picture? I love that thing. I always want to eat those yummy fishies. Or the yummy guinea pigs. Speaking of the yummy guinea pigs, Willow for some reason doesn't want to eat them. What's your problem? |

They're pets, not
food, Saleen. You and Sabrina really need to figure that one out. See
how calm I am around the guinea pigs? They even take pictures of me
with them since they know I won't try to eat them. Yummmmmm... I think they call this one Dingo. It makes a bit too much noise for me and it likes to taste my fur, so I leave it alone. Yummmmmm... Er, um, well. I guess we were looking at pictures of me, now weren't we? I guess I was daydreaming about those guinea pigs again. Another one of my favorite things to do is to play around in boxes. I like to jump into any size box, even if half my body is hanging out. Yes, that certainly makes you look intelligent. Oh, what do you know. Anyway, here are some pictures of beautiful me. And one with Willow, too. |
