Sabrina

Hello, my name is Sabrina.  I am a Weimeraner/ Pit mix, or so I've been told by my owners.  I am about two years old, and I like to enjoy life.  My life was not always as nice as it is now, though.
To the left, you can see a picture of me in the animal shelter.  I had to live in the animal shelter twice!  The first time I came in, I was a stray.  I was adopted by a nice lady who just had too little time to give me.  So I developed some bad habits and separation anxiety.  She took me back to the shelter after I got into some paint.
I thought no one would pick me, but there was this nice lady who came around every afternoon and would take me for walks and give me treats.  She is actually the one holding me in this picture!  I was very nice when she came around, and I

made her fall in love with me.
The next thing I knew, she brought this man to see me.  The nice lady, who became my mommy Veronica, kept talking with the man, who is my daddy Brad, about bringing me home.  They couldn't decide, so I suggested they take me for a walk.  I behaved very well on the walk and kept trying to cuddle with them.  My charms worked, and they took me home the next day.

See, they really do think I am an angel!  My mommy took this picture of me when she dressed me up for Halloween.  She wore these wings in her costume, too.
My favorite things to do are to run around with other dogs in the dog park and play tug and fetch with my parents.  Sometimes my friend Saki (who is an Italian Greyhound) comes over, and we have lots of fun.  But then the person who lives downstairs bangs on the celing and we

have to calm down.
I also enjoy stalking the cats and watching the guinea pigs.  Mommy and daddy had them when they got me, but I know the guinea pigs are just for me to eat...  one of these days.  During the ice storm, after we got power back they brought home a bunny rabbit for a few days.  I was really interested in it, as Weimeraners are trained to hunt them!  Unfortunately, they took the bunny back before I could get a taste.

Speaking of the ice storm, my mommy took some good pictures of me playing around in the snow.  To the left is a picture of me before I had decided snow was such a good thing.  All I knew is that I had to wear my boots and coat and that the house was colder and darker than usual since we didn't have power.
To the right is a picture of me in front of an ice covered tree.  The tree had so much ice on it that it was bent

completely over.  I didn't know quite what to make of that!
Speaking of winter time, to the left is a picture of me and my Uncle Snickers waiting to open presents at my grandparent's house.  I don't think Uncle Snickers likes having me around all that much, but he is getting used to me!

One of my favorite people by far is my wonderful mommy (my other favorite is my daddy)!  She loves me sooooo much!  You can see her hugging me in this picture.  I am wearing the collar that she made for me.  It is very pretty and I feel like a special doggy when I wear it!
My mommy and daddy take me to obedience classes which are a lot of fun!  Most of the stuff is easy, like sit, stay and lay down.  Heeling is harder, but I like learning cool tricks!  I can shake, spin,  and give a high five.

Here is a picture of me hanging out with my aunt Vanessa.  I like her a lot!  She likes to lay on the floor with me, but I am not supposed to lick her face.  She says I am the best trained doggy she knows!  That makes me feel good!
I hope my aunt Vanessa can visit me again soon!

I hope you have enjoyed learning about me.  You can visit the cats' page or the guinea pigs'.  But I must warn you that my page is the best.  If you have any ideas on how I can get those guinea pigs, let me know.
