     This source is extremely thorough and easy to use. Provides both a director and author index as well as sections for general subjects, individual films, and biographies. Some entries are annotated.   Indexes the following journals (all available in Davis): Cineaste, Film Comment, Film Quarterly, Jump Cut, Film Criticism, Sight & Sound, Film Culture, Variety, & Film History. Undeniably, one of the best resources to use.

     An essential resource for this type of study/task. Extremely easy to navigate. Provides user with contemporary criticism in both scholarly and popular journals. A fantastic source for modern film reviews (within the past 18 years including up to date & forthcoming). Searching by keyword: "film criticism", "film genre", and "film critic" will yield hundreds of articles (many of them full text).

     Well organized and easy to use. Index of articles in thousands of international critical journals and series. Updated ten times per year. Search under the keyword of "Film" and combinations with "theory" and/or "genre" and can retrieve numerous citations of book reviews and critical articles. Fairly easy to navigate.

      Conducting keyword searches with "film theory" and/or "film studies" will provide complete citations for over 400 articles and where to find if not housed in a library on campus. Extremely easy to navigate. Search forms are very straight forward, by keyword, subject, title or author.
