Some talking, some drinking, some dancing, probably jumping on the furniture (if past parties are any indication) |
What kind of party is it?
A cheap wine party. We want something to contrast with the beer parties that you so often see. This is where everybody brings a bottle (or box or jug) of a cheap wine of their choice. However, it isn't absolutely imperative that you contribute...we will provide some wine as well as some snacks.
Can I only drink cheap wine?
No, you can bring expensive wine, if you want. Or beer or hard alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages, for that matter. There are some good cheap wines out there, though, so I'd suggest giving one a try. A good place to get them is the Chapel Hill Wine Company. They have free tastings along with discounted wines every Saturday; stop by any time between 1pm and 5pm.
When is this soiree?
Saturday September 24, 2005 starting at 10pm and going till we all pass out.
