I wrote my first article for a newspaper in February 1998, when working as a trader for a bank. In August, I devoted myself entirely to writing and gathering news. Since then and till August 2000, I published about 130 by-lined articles in leading Belarusian newspapers - I could find at least so many in the IREX's (International Research and Exchange Board) media archive. There were also smaller news pieces without by-lines, editorials and magazine articles, and several English-language articles in university press. All the articles above were first published on paper. |
