Laurie
Paul will be joining the faculty in Fall 2008, coming to Chapel
Hill from the University of Arizona. She specializes in metaphysics
with a focus on mereology, causation, identity, constitution
and essence. She also has interests in the philosophy of science,
philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, and aesthetics.
She is the co-editor of Causation
and Counterfactuals, (2004), ed. with Collins and Hall.
