Place a strip of aluminum foil in a roasting pan. Put a 4- or 5-pound piece of beef (such as chuck) on it. Cover the beef with 1 can cream of mushroom soup and sprinkle with 1 envelop dried onion soup. Enclose the meat in the aluminum foil. Cook the roast in a 300 degree oven about 4 hours.
Comment: I usually add a little pepper, Tabasco sauce, and red wine.
