Sausage and Egg Casserole


14 eggs
1 pt. half & half cream
2 (12 oz.) pkg. sausage (1 mild and 1 hot)
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 stick sharp Cheddar cheese Cracker Barrel
6 slices bread (remove crust)
9x13 inch casserole dish

Butter dish. Butter bread on both sides and lay in casserole dish. Cook sausage and break in little pieces. Drain. In blender, blend eggs, milk, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, NOT cheese. Grate cheese. Sprinkle sausage over buttered bread, then spread cheese, then pour over cheese the egg mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Serves 12 or more.

I use 1-pound packages of sausage and don't cut the crust off the bread.
