la mar es cuna: I studied abroad in Santander for a semester during my junior year of college. It was an amazing, life-changing experience. If I had to pinpoint one season when I truly grew up, living on the other side of the ocean for three months would be it. I walked around that fair country in a constant state of awe. It was like walking around inside the pictures I had seen in my Spanish books for years and years, only three-dimensional and so very real. God was so faithful to me during those months of newness and unfamiliarity. Leaning on Him in new ways led me to discover His calling upon my life. I wrote a series of stories upon my return, in an attempt to share with the people I love on this side of the sea just how much my time in Spain meant to me...
