![]() here we are headed out on the beach in bahía inglesa, apparently one of chile's most photographed beaches. that's kind of shocking, because it was really dirty, and smelled like sewage. i suppose from far away it's pretty? this picture makes it look pretty nice at least. wish it'd been sunny though. |
![]() and lagging behind, here come the boys. i think that's adam and eliot up on the rock, but i can't really tell. |
![]() the scan's crooked, but this is a cool picture looking out from the beach. |
![]() here's a shot looking back at all the slackers who wouldn't catch up with me. and that's pretty much the entire town of bahía inglesa on the rocks there. there was just a main street, a bunch of rental beach cabañas, and a few houses. and it was completely deserted, but apparently it overflows during the summer (january and february, as strange as that may seem to you north american readers). |
![]() this is a purty picture, looking out at part of the town on the rocks, sun shining through the clouds. |
![]() matt and tim goofing around on the beach. they tried to play frisbee like this, believe it or not. and a word on frisbees... no one here has them. it makes me very sad. i keep hoping to see some chileans playing frisbee, but no such luck. maybe as it gets warmer i'll see some on the beach *crosses fingers* |
![]() i saved the best for last. this is almost identical to the one i already showed you, but i think it's cooler. first of all, i adore that ray of sunlight breaking through the clouds to shine on the little peninsula. second of all, you can see the chilean flag in this one, which is kind of cheesy but still pleasing. anyhow. in case you couldn't tell, i like this picture. |
