these are some boats hanging out around the pier in the punto whatever fishing village we started from; i thought the colors were a neat contrast with the utterly grey and disgusting day.
here are some of the huge and foul-smelling seals we saw up close. the little baby one was great; it was trying to climb up the rock, an interesting process to watch, as seals have no legs and sort of feeble flipper/arm things. but really cute.
