![]() this is the cascada ojos de...something. i want to say brujo, but that's a spanish musical group, not a waterfall in chile. anyways it was quite pretty, there's a very similar falls directly opposite this one that's not in the picture. and the water is so unbelievably blue. those rainbows, also, are not my camera's lens messing up, but are from the spray off the falls. |
![]() anjni and eliot staring out across the lake when we had paddled out into the middle of it. it was a gorgeous day, great for a walk/hike and paddle boat outing. |
![]() yep, here we are trooping down a country road, in one of the most beautiful landscapes known to man. the lighting was just perfect. and there were cows. and a waterfall at the end of this road, that wasn't really all that impressive, but hey, at least the walk was nice. |
![]() waiting for the bus, in that same amazing landscape. prettiest bus stop i've ever been at. |
![]() when i disappear to live somewhere pretty and be reclusive, you know where to look for me. those are sheep under the tree, though they're hard to make out. |
![]() gearing up for our rafting trip, mad fun. the river in question is of course the one behind us. |
![]() and winding down from it. the random chilean guy is from the other group that was with us; he got stuck in our boat, but it was ok, we had a war with one of the other boats and they kidnapped anjni and we stole one of their people, so he wasn't all alone with us the whole time. |
![]() that's the volcano we climbed. it's mad early in the morning. we were on our way to get a bus back to temuco, rushing to catch our flight...that was delayed more than two hours. heh. could've slept in, oh well. |
![]() and catching the plane home to la serena. actually, to santiago, then to la serena, etc etc. but you get the idea. good ol' lan express, and their lovely fleet of always full 737s. |
