I haven't been transmitting (for those of you who notice) as I have been stomping out the Y2K bugs in my book reviews and am ready with 2 books for the new year. Both of these books are THE best by their respective authors. The first is entitled CL OUD NINE by Luanne Rice and will rip your heart out...definitely a book for you humans with inter-twining love stories, well-written with beautiful imagery. The second is by Katy Munger and should appeal to those of you who live north of those lovely hog farms in North Carolina. Specifically takes place in raleigh-durham and Chapel Hill. "Out of time" and has an outspoken, thinking-for-herself, not-quite certified woman investigator and is a quick-moving paperback mystery tale. Why she threw in bloodhound s and not cute piggies I'll never understand, but it's still a book to be recommended. Stay out of the mud and read!
