DiscussionI enjoyed the class, it was much more interesting than I expected it to be. It was one of my most interesting classes at Carolina. I liked the amount of discussion in class and the work in teams. I think both of these contributed very much to learning and understanding the material. Make sure that you continue to ask for feedback/discussion from my peers in order to keep everyone’s attention sufficiently attentive. The in-class quizzes and group discussion have helped me to gain a greater appreciation for the readings, and have allowed me to truly LEARN the concepts. I like how it’s going so far, because of the group work. It makes it more interesting than just a lecture everyday. Plus I also like group-work because I get other students’ ideas and input. I like the interaction among the classmates and don’t feel like this class is just a boring lecture class. I have especially enjoyed the discussion format of the class. The group discussions seem to help one get a feeling for the reading and further helps one to understand the discussion after it. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. I love the discussion we have – everyone can share his/her opinion. Fun class – I like the discussion a lot. This course is good stuff. I mean it is fun to go to class because I expect an interesting discussion each time and that’s what I get. I’m really starting to like this course. I really enjoy the interaction part of it. I believe that class discussions/debates are the best way to get involved in a specific area. You are a very personable teacher and the class actually talks to each other. I think that getting ideas off each other (discussing) is one of the best ways to learn. This is my favorite course as of yet. I like the small layouts and subject matter. Classroom discussions help out a lot, as well as integrating technology into our learning. The McDonald’s assignment was great, and hands on learning I think helps provide more reason for deeper thought from an individual. |
