It's weird to write about myself after I've spent so much time writing fiction.

Well, obviously, my name is Heather (I hate to capitalize it). I'm in my third year at UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in journalism, with a concentration on advertising, and minoring in creative writing.
My goal is to be a copywriter after graduation. Probably around here at first but eventually my destination is California.

I guess the more frivolous information follows. I love cats; I have a cat at home named Bubba and recently visited the Hemingway house in Key West to see the six-toed cats (Hemingway cat and paw prints pictured to left).

I can't cook at all. The kitchen is some kind of black hole which renders me unable to function properly. This handicap also includes an inability to cut things and measure things properly.

And I write a lot; it's kind of my talent I guess. You'll find a lot of my fiction by clicking on the portfolio link to your left and then clicking on writing.
