The follwing are descriptions of different projects I have completed in the public relations concentration at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Click on each link to view an abstract or the project in full.



In JOMC 134, my client was a local gourmet store, A Southern Season. This piece of work is an advertisement that I designed for a Valentine's Day Contest. Our objective was to increase the awareness of and interest in A Southern Season among UNC-CH students by ten percent over a two-year period.

This piece is also from my experience with A Southern Season. This is a flyer I designed to entice students to enter the Valentines Day contest where they were eligible to win a all inclusive dinner for two at A Southern Season's Weathervane Restaurant.

This is a press release I wrote for Delta Delta Delta, wher I served as Vice President Public Relations. I sent it he local newspapers like the Raleigh News and Observer, The Chapel Hill Herald and The Daily Tar Heel, announcing the installation of officers.

In Journalism 130, my public relations team created a campaign for a non-profit organization, Cornucopia House. The plan covered various strategies and tactics we created that would enable Cornucopia House to meet its objectives. This is a brochure I created as a tactic to meet one of the strategies in our plan.
