I've made my way to the west coast and am residing in sunny southern California! I'm currently a post-doc at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla.  Please feel free to peruse this site- some of it is still not updated...but I'll fix that eventually!

• There's an asteroid named Holmberg (3573), discovered 1982 August 16 by C.-I. Lagerkvist at La Silla.
            Named in honor of the Swedish astronomer Erik Holmberg.
 
• Werner Holmberg (1830-1860), Finland's most important artist of the Düsseldorf school, was a great influence and pioneer of Finnish landscape painting.
