Continental Shelf

Studies of the circulation and structure on the continental shelf are another focus area of the group. The links detail active or recent studies.

The South East Atlantic Coastal Ocean Observing System (SEACOOS), is an information system that collects, manages and dissiminates observations and information products of the coastal ocean off North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. It is an effort to develop an umbrella organization to coordinate observing system related activities in the four states. For more information, go to www.seacoos.org
