GROUP 6

This is a social fraternity at UNC-Ch in which 5%-10% of its members attend church, or another religious service on a regular basis. Their rush is not influenced by religion, they have parties where alcohol is served and they do fun things like play basketball. In times of trouble or pain, a brother will turn to the guys within the fraternity that they are close to for help and support. The entire group is made aware of the situation, but the individual usually deals with the situation on their own or with people close to them.

FOUNDATION: They were founded as a secret brotherhood, which stresses gentlemanly behavior and putting an importance on scholastic achievement.

MOTTO/MISSION STATEMENT: This fraternity is a private fraternity of gentlemen devoted to the personal and collective needs of its members. A selective association of diverse individuals, the fraternity is dedicated to the cultivation of a unique environment, which instills a lifelong commitment to brotherhood. The mission of the fraternity is to create and maintain an enduring society which encourages the sharing of traditions and values, respect for oneself and others, and responsibility to the university and community.
