Hello. As you may have realized by now, my name is Jennifer Anderson Immel - but most people call me Jenny. I am a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. My sequence in journalism is news-editorial. If you play around more with my site, you will be able to check out some of the stories I have written for The Daily Tar Heel and The Chapel Hill Herald. But enough of the boring stuff. Here is some information about me you may or may not want to know.
I am originally from the great city Chicago! I actually was raised about 20 minutes north of the city in a town named Evanston (where Northwestern University is), but my family has now moved, and I can call myself a true Chicagoan. When I was 6 years old my family moved to Hong Kong for three years. That is by far one of the greatest events in my life. Since moving back to the United States, I have traveled back to Hong Kong twice, and let me tell you, the shopping is incredible.
Another adventure in my life was going to the University of Wisconsin at Madison for my freshman and sophomore years. That is an amazing school where I met some of the most amazing people. I would reccommend that anyone looking to travel to the Midwest stop by Madison to get a beer at the Terrace and enjoy the lake. But now I am here under the blue skys of North Carolina and having the time of my life. I hope you enjoy my Web site. |
