What will happen if I bring my child to participate?
Participation in this research involves your child playing a game with a researcher and a puppet or toy. Some studies involve looking at pictures and answering questions about the picture. Other studies involve listening to stories told by a researcher and responding to what a puppet says about the stories. Participation may involve wearing a light-weight eye tracker or taking a video of the child. All pictures, stories and toys are designed to be age-appropriate. Children often find participation in these studies great fun, and they take it as a new game. Your visit with us will last less than one hour, and we will provide free parking. If at any time your child wishes to stop the game, the session will end immediately.
