Who am I?

I am a graduate student in Marine Science here at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a Masters of Science, with a focus in Physical Oceanography. My previous degree is from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Mathematics (minor in Earth Sciences) in Spring, 2011.

My advisor is Dr. Rick Luettich, and my research involves using the Advanced Circulation model (ADCIRC) in tandem with Matlab to simulate storm surge during hurricane events.
