Welcome to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Master's of Science in Nursing Program! This web center is for students and faculty in the Children's Health -- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) advanced practice area. Our goal? To help you successfuly achieve your goal to become an advanced practice nurse in pediatric primary care.
The PNP Role
Our program prepares you to be a PNP-Primary Care (PNP-PC) advanced practice nurse. PNP-PCs work across a variety of settings including private office settings, health maintenance organizations, developmental evaluation settings, school settings, health departments, and specialty clinics.
