I am currently working on the HSV-1 replication study. I am especially involved in the generation of the replication proteins by recombinant baculovirus expression in insect cells, and their characterization and replication activity by electron microscopy, as well as through various biochemical assays.

I received my BS/MS in Biochemistry from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania.
