This article contains seldom-seen photographs and interviews with Diane's husband, Allan Arbus (who did not cooperate with Patricia Bosworth in writing the bibliography). Lubow had access like none other for this article and it must not be missed.

This article is as important as the others, as it discusses the new attention to Arbus, given the new information granted to the public by her previously very protective estate. Thurman discusses each current exhibition, one at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, and one smaller exhibition of unseen and unpublished work at the museum of Mount Holyoke College.
