Jean Dennison, Ph.D. (Osage Nation) is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her book, Colonial Entanglement Constituting a Twenty-First-Century Osage Nation looks at the debates about blood, culture, minerals, and sovereignty during the 2004-2006 Osage reform process. Her areas of interest include: representation, visual anthropology, bodily politics, and North American Indian citizenship, governance, and sovereignty. |
