Jean Dennison, Ph.D. (Osage Nation) is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at UNC-Chapel Hill. She is currently writing a book on the Osage Nation's recent citizenship and government reform process. Her areas of interest include: representation, visual anthropology, bodily politics, and North American Indian citizenship, governance, and sovereignty.
