Check out some of my favorite links:
After spending a semester in Washington, DC last fall, I became an avid reader of The Washington Post. They have great stories covering a wide range of hard and soft news. I especially enjoy reading the feature articles in their Style section because they're usually based on a certain news development and are incredibly well-written.
RELEVANTmagazine.com is a daily updated website covering God, life and progressive culture. As a Christian, I love this site because it addresses faith, current news, relationships, careers and music -- all from a fresh and intelligent perspective. It provokes a lot of important questions concerning issues that are resonant and well, relevant.
Ok, I confess -- I love to shop. The summer after my freshman year in college, I worked at Banana Republic and fell in love with their clothes. It's unfortunate that I don't have an employee discount anymore, but that still doesn't stop me from visiting bananarepublic.com to check out their new clothes.
This link is for my roommate, Anna. (aka -- the biggest Pearl Jam fan I know) Anna visits the Pearl Jam Synergy site religiously to check out band news, read online fan posts, find out band rumors and just to see what set list was played at PJ's most recent concert across the globe. Anna's relationship with PJ is slightly obsessive and a little crazy, but I still love her. This link is just my way of helping her spread the Jam! |
