While learning Flash, I created a multimedia site detailing the search for the Jews of Nowa Slupia, Poland. The site incorporates audio and video.
Just My Trip
For this project, I built a prototype for a travel website that allows travelers to select activities based on their specific needs. When developing the prototype, I conducted user research, drafted scenarios, and developed use cases.
In Search of the Perfect Font
For this project, I was required to create a website featuring one or more usability, standards or design issue. I chose to study font. Specifically, I looked at literature concerning font readability and legibility. The website includes discussion of the role font size, serif vs. sans-serif and web vs. print fonts play in terms of legibility.
Rat Whisker Bibliography Database
For this project, I built a bibliographic database in Access to keep track of journal articles, books, and book chapters concerning the rat whisker system. The rat whisker system is commonly studied by neuroscientists. As part of this project, I created an ER model, UML diagram, schema, and SQL queries with multiple joins.
