It is Wednesday

I've been very tired of late, so getting 7+ hours of sleep last night was good. I just can't go on 4 or 5 like I used to. I think I'm getting old.

In X Prize news, Team DaVinci announced that they are being sponsored by Sun Microsystems. That's good for them. A few of the teams have announced appreciable sponsors lately, I think. That's good. That means better chances of more people getting to space.

My money is still on Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites. Their innovative vehicle, Space Ship One, has recently completed glide down tests (improved pic) and done well. They really seem to be on schedule and know what they're doing, Rutan being an aviation pioneer and all.
