Mondegreen

The damn commercial was driving me crazy, so I finally had to look up the Spongebob Squarepants theme. It starts:

Captain: Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Kids: Spongebob Squarepants!
Captain: Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!

I heard the last line as:

Captain: He's smarter than you, and he's shorter than me.

I like my version better. But I'm still kinda stunned I had the first line right.
