Course Topics: Introduction to the multi-disciplinary field of cognitive neuroscience, which seeks to understand the relationship of mind to brain. The emphasis will be on appreciating how the various methodologies of cognitive neuroscience (including electrophysiology, neuroimaging, neuropsychology, and transcranial magnetic stimulation) are enhancing our understanding of the neural foundations of cognitive processes.

Grading:

Grading will be based on an in-class presentation and on participation in class discussions. Please be prepared to be the local expert on the paper you read. Each paper will be read by only 1-3 people, so you should be prepared to discuss the contributions of your article to the topic being discussed.
