About Me

Hello and welcome to my website. I am a graduate student in the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am working on a Master of Science in Information Science.

I work for the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at UNC-CH as a Teaching Assistant and Research Coordinator for Course Development for online courses such as JOMC 223 - The Global Impact of New Communication Technologies.

My undergraduate degrees are also from UNC-CH in Public Relations and Communications. I was born in Chapel Hill and grew up in Concord. Most of my family now lives in High Point, NC.

On July 31, 2004 I married Richard Wilkie. He is from Salisbury, NC. We live in Chapel Hill with our two dogs, Kassy and Emma.
