Jon Abramowitz is Professor of Psychology in the UNC Clinical Program and Associate Chair of the UNC Psychology Department. His research focuses on the nature and treatment of anxiety disorders, especially obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He is also Director of the UNC Anxiety and Stress Disorders Clinic.


Dr. Abramowitz is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, and Associate Editor of Behaviour Research and Therapy.
