- Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. is the first multicultural sorority in the Southeastern United States. Our mission is to promote leadership, multiculturalism, and self-improvement through academic excellence, involvement in and service to the campus and community, as well as being living examples of sisterhood across different races, cultures, religions, backgrounds, and lifestyles. - The Almighty Alpha Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. was founded on the campus at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 11th, 1997. I pledged into this organization and this chapter in the Fall of 2001, along with three other beautiful butterflies as members of FALLing Into ONE. - I am currently a Senior at the oldest public university, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is a wonderful environment for all students. With great athletics, outstanding academics, and interesting people, what more could you really ask for out of a collegiate experience?

- Each year the Alpha Chapter awards a scholarship to an outstanding undergraduate woman. The woman exemplifies our five tenets of Service, Leadership, Scholarship, Multiculturalism, and Sisterhood, thus embodying the ideal of the Theta Woman. The award was first offered in the Fall Semester of 1999, and the recipient was Emily Williams.All undergraduate women with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 are eligible to apply. The application is available online and must be submitted in writing by March 21, 2003.
